The first year was fine, other than resolving normal starter issues - figuring out if I needed a chin strap and similar early problems. About 1 year in one night I suddenly got a burning plastic smell.This is a replacement machine for my seven year old ResMed S9. The first time I used my AirCurve 10, I noticed a high pitch whirring sound that got louder as I inhaled. My S9 was quiet with only the sounds of the air movement. I reported this to my equipment supplier and they ordered me a replacement machine.
